Sambora Kinigi Lodge is a premier eco-luxury destination located at the foothills of Volcanoes National Park, Kinigi, Musanze, Rwanda, offering luxurious accommodation, personalised food and beverage, hikes, wellness, and tour services. The lodge is HACCP certified by the Rwanda Standards Board to RS 184:2023.
Sambora Kinigi Lodge is committed to complying with stringent food safety and hygiene standards, implementing the Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) RS 184:2023 requirements, and adhering to statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements across our scope of operation — providing quality-controlled, safe hot and cold food and beverage experiences.

Sambora Kinigi Lodge’s management is committed to communicating this policy to all staff and other stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulators.

Keeping it effective

This policy and our food safety operating procedures are continually reviewed to remain relevant and to effectively manage food safety risks associated with changes in products, processes, emerging technologies, and applicable standards.

Our food safety policy is supported by measurable objectives, evaluated through defined operational criteria.
